Step into a pivotal role in enhancing community healthcare as a part-time OB/GYN Physician at our Southwest Clinic, located in the heart of Houston, TX. Play a crucial role in addressing women's health needs within a medically underserved community, leveraging your expertise to ensure comprehensive care. This position not only offers the opportunity to serve but also supports your professional growth through the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Program, which offers up to $50,000 in loan repayment for every two years of service at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide expert medical care related to pregnancy, childbirth, and reproductive health.
  • Diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases specific to women, ensuring comprehensive care throughout all life stages.
  • Offer general medical care to women, addressing a broad spectrum of health concerns beyond reproductive health.
  • Participate actively in clinical and operations-related meetings, enhancing our care strategies through collaborative efforts.
  • Be available for on-call services, providing essential care when needed beyond scheduled hours.

Qualifications

  • Medical Doctorate with certification in OB/GYN by the ABOG or AOBOG.
  • Current Texas medical licensure and a valid DEA License.
  • Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency or clinical fellowship in OB/GYN.
  • Proven experience in a hospital or clinic setting, showcasing significant expertise in women's health.
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred, enabling broader communication within our diverse community.
